It rained Saturday night. A windy, pounding, rain that soaked everything. It also snowed in the the hills to the east of Phoenix (technically Scottsdale and Mesa). All these pictures were taken from a car moving from Mesa to Phoenix along the 101 freeway.
It was quite a sight to see hills covered with snow just a few miles away from the freeway landscaped with Saguaros, Agaves, and decorated with Geckos.
Those are mesquite trees and palo verde trees in front of those hills with snow.
But the best was the palm trees in front of a snow capped mountain.
