It is a long way down, and even longer coming back up. Especially when walking on your own two feet.
California Condors live on the cliffs of the canyon. They hardly ever flap their wings. They just stretch out those giant wings and soar on the breeze.

At any time there are at least 8000 other people at the Grand Canyon with you all wanting to take a picture of the same spot you are aiming your camera at.
On most days, it cost $25 to get in. Sort of like admission to an amusement park.
Despite any inconvenience, there is nothing else like it in this world and it is worth seeing.
